Autumn Bar Cart: Kilim Pumpkin Autumn Art Print

November 10, 2017 by CORINNA HENDERSON

Hello there my beautiful boho babes! The end of summer is gone, Halloween is gone, are we diving into Christmas decor? If you’re wanting to take a bit longer to enjoy the autumnal vibes, I’ve created a collection of kilim pumpkin printables with matching typography. These are an awesome boho vintage vibe to them and the kilim colors are perfect for an assortment of styles. Here’s how I used mine to style my Autumn Bart Cart:

Anxious to get your prints?

The transition from my Halloween bar cart to autumnal bar cart is simple and keeps Thanksgiving in mind. I kept out a few pumpkins but have mostly dedicated the cart to holding libations for guests. My cacti glasses are on top the radio and I’ve added a bottle of wine with my DIY felt and tassel wine bottle charms (perfect for a hostess gift!).

And candy, of course, because you never want people getting grumpy while waiting on food to be served. This window gets a ton of late day son so the plants are always at home here and don’t get moved, even for the holidays.

It’ll be easy to once again transition to Christmas decor by swapping out the pumpkins, gourd and art. This time of year moves so fast that I don’t like to do excessive decorating for each holiday. There’s just a little too much to be getting done to also set aside time to completely redecorate a mantel, bar cart and front door but I think these few items pack enough of a punch to feel festive.

If you want to get your hands on a pumpkin kilim printable, they’re available free for newsletter subscribers or, for just a dollar, you can buy them in my shop.

I’m not going to sit here and pretend that I don’t have any Christmas decor out yet, because I totally do. I’m just taking my time pulling all the things out so I don’t burn out. So far I’ve been stocking up on different sized gift bags because I already don’t feel like wrapping anything. And bottle brush trees from the Target dollar spot and light up metallic trees from the dollar store because those are pretty amazing for mantel decorating.

I’m not sure yet what the plan is for Thanksgiving. Normally I just go to whatever family members house I’m expected at. But I’m vegan and even the corn and greenbeans get embellished and/or cooked in animal product. I’d rather just sleep that whole day away, but we will see. I hope you enjoy this look at my simple boho autumn bar cart and that you take a moment to get the art print. Be well!

Free Halloween Printables

October 11, 2017 by CORINNA HENDERSON

I created something for you guys and I hope you take advantage of them. They are free and witty and pretty cute. Every so often I like to sit down and create a free printable or two for the people who take the time out of their lives to let me into their world. I hope I provide some value with what I share here on my blog but the true tell all is when you sign up for my email newsletter. Thank you so much for doing that! With more and more blogs than ever and algorithms throttling social media, letting me send a little note to your inbox once a week is an honor. This time I’ve created cute Halloween “Trick Or Treat Yo Self” printables.

Free halloween printable trick or treat yo self

I think they’d be especially cute on a mantel or bar cart. But you could also resize them to be smaller and stapled onto goody bags or tucked into a vignette. Or, just another idea, if you’re a seasonal gallery wall kind of person, you could swap it into one of your frames. Oh! If you’re one of those people who just leave a bowl of candy on the front porch, you could tape this to it or hang it above.

I’ve printable one of the horizontal ones and stuck it in a dollar store 8×10 frame. The images don’t need to be resized to fit in an 8×10 frame but you’ll need to cut down the traditional 8.5×11 paper you’ll likely have on hand for it. I plan on leaving it in the frame and packing the whole thing in the Halloween tote after the holiday.

Now, if you’ve signed up previously for my newsletter, you may not even remember that you did because I never sit down to write the newsletter. And, I really hate the automated templates and RSS feeds (and, that’s a rant I’ll just leave alone). But, it is on my priority list to start putting together a useful collection of the blog posts of the week, any helpful tips/videos/articles I’ve come across and what’s been happening over on the ‘gram. That way you can skim through it and open up what you want to catch up on when you’ve got time to do it.

So, if you’d like to display one or some of these free halloween printables, here’s the newsletter sign up form to get your access. It should be relatively instantaneous, so give it a few moments. After you confirm your subscription, you’ll receive a welcome email with the link to the images. But, if you’re having trouble, don’t hesitate to reach out to me.

Free Valentine’s Day Printable: I Naturally Select You

February 7, 2017 by CORINNA HENDERSON

There’s just one week left until the beloved, or dreaded, Valentine’s holiday. If you like to give your friends, family and loved ones something a bit unique or you just have a great sense of humor, the cards at the store can fall a little flat (get it, because they’re paper and paper is flat? Ha… ha.)

So I whipped up a second printable for those of you who aren’t sure about my Turkish terms of endearment printables I shared yesterday. This one is for your Science nuts. I, for one, appreciate math and science to a pretty high degree. So I hope you will get the humor in this one!

Print it as a card, print it and frame it, or print a bunch of these to pass out to your coworkers. I’m sure everyone with get a good giggle out of it 🙂

Starting LDN and everything else I’ve tried for CFS so far…

I’ve been taking low dose naltrexone (ldn) for just over a month at this point and I wanted to share an update on how it’s been going thus far. I started taking ldn because I tried everything else in an attempt to feel better. At my last PCP appointment, I told him I’d be trying […]

Checkerboard: The Latest Insta-Trend

You ever first see a trend and think, “nope, not for me.” That was, and still a little, me with the checkerboard trend. I’ve never liked checkerboard walls or floors. At least not enough to semi-permanently put it somewhere in my home. But I am still in pursuit of an interior design certificate and job […]

AAPI Skincare & Beauty Haul & Demo (dry skin, fragrance sensitive)

As my mental health has improved, I’ve enjoyed getting back into my mindfulness consumerism series. I needed face wash, serum, and oil. For […]

Simple Minty Eye Makeup Look (Indigenous Beauty Brands)

As much as I loathe dealing with fallout atop base makeup, I still always start with base makeup. But lucky for me, there’s no powder products going on my eyes today. Despite being a simpler makeup look, there’s still a lot of drama going on. A sharp cat eye winged liner elevates the eyes. And […]

Full Face Latinx Brands

From September 15 – October 15 is Hispanic Heritage Month. During this time I wanted to put together a full face of Hispanic owned beauty brands. Here’s My Faves for Hispanic Heritage Month

Hispanic Heritage Month is upon us! It’s always my goal to be mindful of where I’m spending my money. During Heritage and Pride months, I try to make an effort to seek out brands that I may not otherwise be aware of. It’s no surprise, what’s out there is truly amazing. And I want to […]
