The other day I shared with you where I create. Today I want to follow up with not only where I share my creations, but a #craigslistscore too! The desk I blog at is one of the very first pieces I scored on Craigslist. And for a crazy good deal of $20.

Feminine and Edgy Home Office
I used to keep my desk centered in front of the window to the left, but I found myself gazing out the window far too frequently. Perched here, I find myself very productive and focused.

An overview of the wall my desk rests against: DIY Macrame Plant Hanger, DIY Bohemian Arrow, DIY Simple Stenciled Shelf, DIY Gold Plastic Animal Picture Holders, DIY Vase Lamp, DIY Painted Arrow Pillow.

The cork board is a simple square of cork from the craft store attached to the wall with upholstery tacks. The board stays packed with notes, but that’s OK. I found the adorable pink recycling can at the dollar store.

My DIY space is Bubby approved too!

This desk has seen so many places! Inside the center drawer are address stamps from Pensacola, FL to McLean, VA.

Just beneath the work surface are 2 panels that pull out for additional work surface area. How cool is that?

I keep cosmetics and beauty items in the drawers to the right for now. I’m not sure where I’ll end up putting them, I don’t plan on storing them permanently in the desk.

What do you store in your desk drawers? I’m never sure what to put in my desk drawers. I’ve got tools in the bottom left drawer and the larger top left drawer is where I keep our bill paying paperwork. (Aren’t the dovetail joints to die for?)

I try to keep things to a bare minimum on the work surface to avoid distractions. It may seem like a lot for other people, but for me this is bare minimum. The pig atop the candle has a solar panel and when I turn my lamp on it makes him flap his wings. Isn’t that cute (and necessary 😉 )?

The wood is by no means in great condition. There are deep scratches and dents all over, but I personally love the look it has.

Those boxes beneath the desk are temporary. They’re fragile items that I need to get around to fixing. They’re sentimental so I’m taking my time to figure out how to fix them.
As always, I hope you’ve enjoyed a glimpse into my world. This space is turning out to be pretty special and I love sharing the progress with you!
