I wanted to share a quick and easy little tutorial with you today. Valentine’s is coming up, and asides from Christmas, I’m not a very festive decorator. I get lazy and tired and always leave my decor up far too long. So when I do decorate for holidays, I try to keep it subtle, easy, and blendable into my current decor.
So here’s my Simple and Pretty Valentine’s Garland!
Mini Wooden Hearts
First, paint your wooden hearts. You can paint them any color. They’re hearts, so they’re already Valentine-ey. I think yellow hearts would look stunning (in fact, I may create a second one in yellow now that I mention it)
Cut out the length of baker’s twine to fit the space you’ll be using it. Lay it out on a flat surface and space out your dried hearts.
Hot glue the hearts to the twine.
Once the glue has dried you can display your twine anywhere.
And it’s totally acceptable to leave it up for a few weeks after Valentine’s Day 😉
I hope your Valentine’s day is joyous!
